Language Link’s Latest – EXCITING NEWS!

We promised you that we would be back, and we are!  Not yet in full force, but we have several schools that have announced their reopening.  We will be ready to set you up for a study trip after June 1.  By that time we are predicting that limited travel can be safe and available.  All schools will continue with strict Covid protocols, and we highly recommend that you be vaccinated before travel to increase safety for all.  Schools open are:

ASLI Spanish Language Institute of Cuernavaca, Mexico

PLFM of Antigua, Guatemala

Becari Conzatti of Oaxaca, Mexico

Intercultura of Sámara Beach, Costa Rica

IH Riviera Maya of Playa del Carmen, Mexico

…and possibly coming soon Academia Simón Bolívar of Quito and Cuenca, Ecuador

On our website under Total Immersion Programs you can find details on country entry and exit requirements, as well as information on the programs and costs.  You can also request the information in PDF form and an editable PDF registration form to be sent directly to you.  Use the Contact Us form on our website www.langlink.com or write to us at info@langlink.com

We are also very pleased to offer our first On The Road trip.  We’ve received your many requests for other destinations and will soon be developing more trips.

Mérida and the Yucatán OCT 20—28, 2021

Colonial cities, Mayan wonders, cenotes, haciendas, nature preserves…and more!  9 days, with 5 nights in Mérida and 3 in Valladolid

We’re very excited to offer a repeat of our journey to the Yucatán. We will concentrate on the more central, treasure filled areas, not the beach resorts.  A limited group of 14, traveling in AC transport. Optional daily Spanish classes at all levels for 6 days, taught by Maru Cortés, with conversational practice as you travel.

Tour Mérida Centro Histórico, Museo del Mundo Maya, Sunset Dinner in Progreso, Uxmal, Museo del Chocolate, Henequen Haciendas, Swim in a Cenote (underground caves sacred to the Maya), Izamal, Lunch at famed Kinich, Chichén Itzá, Río Lagartos Ecological Reserve, Las Coloradas (pink colored salt water flats), Casa de los Venados, Ek Balam, Gala Fiesta Dinner in one of Mérida’s finest.

See full details on the website or ask us for a PDF of the trip and an editable PDF registration form.

SPECIAL NOTE—If you want to continue in Mexico, the dates of this trip coincide perfectly with  the Day of the Dead Fiesta, a culture and language program in Cuernavaca starting Saturday, Oct. 30.  You can fly from Mérida to Mexico City with arrangements to move in early with your host family and start that program on Saturday.  Take advantage of being in Mexico and extend your stay.  This is an all inclusive trip based in Cuernavaca with host family stays.  That makes the cost very reasonable.   Ask Language Link for information if not yet on the website.

And one more thing –

We have loved hearing from you, especially during these times.  Un fuerte abrazo a Anne Bell

Her comment on our FaceBook page found at Language Link

A wonderful way to learn a language. I and my 3 daughters studied in Costa Rica, Spain, and Ecuador at different times. Now I’m hoping my grandchildren can have this wonderful experience. They’re not quite old enough yet. Language Link trips are awesome as well. I loved Cuba and I learned so much. Can’t say enough good things about them.
