RETURNED FROM SPAIN
Meredith and I were parts of two different groups from 25 countries recently invited to Spain as the guest of the government tourism department.  The purpose was to have us learn more of Spain, Meredith in Andalucia and me in  Madrid and Salamanca, and to be further introduced to Spain's wine and food.  It gave us the opportunity to meet with all our schools there and better prepare for your trips.

NEW PROGRAMS
We are quite slow to add new schools, as we like to remain very personalized and completely knowledgeable with our service.  But we do have some new additions.  Check out Valencia and Granada in Spain.  We have also added the Amauta school in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Our last Language Link Online newsletter has been emailed to our extensive list and is posted on the website. Please send us your email if you want to be included. It's brief information about the Spanish language and culture and includes an informative Spanish lesson. We receive many comments about how much people like to receive it...good stuff!

GROUPS heading out are more numerous than ever! 2010 will see many college students and high school groups to our programs in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Argentina, Peru and Chile. These include the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay and Madison, Lindenwood University, Martin Luther College,  American Council of Internation Studies,  Austin College, ...just to name a few.  We  had wonderful tracks for business, medicine, and educationl education majors in our Cuernavaca program, and several corporate groups.  We also had a great group of diabetes educators.  Many are already preparing return groups among their colleagues.  We have upcoming groups seeing the vineyards of Chile and playing on the beaches of Costa Rica...all these adventures enjoyed while they're learning Spanish.  What exciting opportunities for all!

ACADEMIC CREDIT
We are offering undergraduate credit in almost all our schools now through Brookhaven College of Texas.

We're visiting schools!
Meredith visited Mexico in April to check in with our office there.  She attended   a meeting in Cairo, Egypt, in May, where she met with all the International House schools with which we work.

Kay  is greatly enjoying the opportunity of living in Mexico and personally meeting almost all the Cuernavaca students, since she is now directing our Mexico office.  Her most recent business visits have been to Oaxaca and to San Miguel de Allende, where a special high school group program was developed.
