ILISA - San Jose
ILISA
ILISA Language Institute, a medium-sized school, was founded in 1987 with a single mission, to help you reach your learning goals by creating ideal conditions in which to learn. You can exceed your expectations both in and outside the classroom.
ILISA distinguishes itself by its organizational strength and student-oriented approach. A highly motivated and well trained staff, flexible and professional service, and comfortable, well-equipped facilities create the ideal circumstances to help you reach your goals. Through the years it has developed a reputation for training motivated individuals who need Spanish for professional purposes or personal enrichment.
Unlike most language schools in the Americas, ILISA’s facilities are purpose-built. Over 25 spacious and comfortable classrooms and an abundance of fresh air and natural lighting provide an ideal learning environment. During breaks and after class, the spacious garden and terrace allow you to relax, study or chat with other students from all over the world while enjoying an extraordinary view of the mountains. For your convenience, ILISA also has a full-service restaurant on site.
Program Strengths
- Small class size - only four students per class
- Outstanding beautiful, high tech facilities
- Excellent choice for adult professionals
- A serious program for those with critical needs
Activities
Each week ILISA offers at least three lectures and activities to provide additional exposure to the Spanish language and to inform you about Costa Rican history, its culture and its people. You can participate in guided visits to museums, theater performances, Latin dance and cooking classes or join lectures by local experts on a variety of topics. All these activities are complimentary.
Excursions to explore the country are available at optional additional cost. Whether you want to visit the scenic beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park, the active Arenal Volcano or get some whitewater rafting action on the Pacuare River, ILISA can help you explore it all. Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and you will be fully assisted in making your weekend travel unforgettable.
