Cuernavaca - Executive Program

Executive Learning Program

This program has a very successful track record and an impressive list of clients including Caterpillar Inc., the Interamerican Development Bank, Lufthansa and many others. This is a language and culture school dedicated to excellence and quality whose reputation has been built by many years of experience and a commitment to professionalism. The school has a unique teaching approach which will give you tools for effective business strategies in Latin America.

The attractive and comfortable colonial style facilities are located in a residential area of Cuernavaca, Mexico, a city located in the mountains, 1 1/2 hour's drive south of Mexico City. Because of its 75 degree year round temperature, it is known as the city of "Eternal Spring." To facilitate your travel, our service includes a private driver who will meet your flight at the Mexico City airport. The driver will then bring you directly to Cuernavaca. Return service is also provided.

Program Information

The Executive Program is a total immersion, intensive language experience with 6-8+ hours daily of language training and cultural instruction. This is a strictly customized program which includes your personalized vocabulary, travel and business needs. The program includes action experiences to places such as mine sites, construction area, factories, agricultural centers and others.

A unique feature is cross-cultural training in aspects such as the psychology of Latin Americans, business practices, social customs and others. This knowledge greatly reduces culture shock. By understanding the "how" and "why," you can develop effective techniques to ensure your success in Latin America. Although the Institute is located in Mexico, great care is taken to concentrate on the vocabulary of either Latin America in general or any specific country or area which your choose.

Maximum Results in Minimum Time

For beginners, a minimum of three to four weeks is recommended. This can be followed by a second session at a later date for more proficiency. For those with prior Spanish study, stays of two weeks can be arranged. Courses can begin on any Monday. Executive students usually arrive in Cuernavaca the day before their classes begin. At times an executive schedule demands that the study be split up. For instance, a four week study period can be arranged in two sessions, with separate arrival dates.

Living with a Mexican Family

Although we can arrange hotel accommodations, we strongly recommend that you live with a Mexican family with this program. Your hosts will be carefully selected, and they will be of a professional class with experience in hosting executives and diplomats. They will expand your classroom hours with informal conversation, and you will become an actual participant in the culture. Your amenities will include a comfortable, completely private room and bath, telephone and television access, and a garden. You will share two typical meals per day with your host family.
